Traders

As a leading securities exchange, the SIX Swiss Exchange aims to achieve internationally recognised standards in terms of technology and organisation and requires the same of its licensed traders. Adequate professional knowledge is required for admission to trading. This professional knowledge must be demonstrated in the context of an examination held by the SIX Swiss Exchange.

Registration

By registering a specific individual, a participant becomes entitled to have such individual act as a trader on the SIX Swiss Exchange in the participant's name and under its own responsibility.

Education

The SIX Swiss Exchange courses and SWX Trader Exam are available to all prospective traders and other interested parties who wish to acquire this specific knowledge. The SWX Trader Exam leads to the SWX trader licence which is a mandatory requirement for all registered SWX traders.
