Provisional Registration

Individuals who fulfil the requirements for acquiring a trader status according to the General Conditions, but who have yet to be granted a trader's license (upon successful completion of the SIX Swiss Exchange Traders Examination), may become registered on a provisional basis for a maximum period of one year.

The examination must be passed during this period or else registration is suspended. Each trader can only be given provisional registration once, i.e. a change of participant does not entitle a trader to another year of provisional registration.
