Technical Connectivity
Network Connectivity Providers (NCPs) and FIX Connectivity Providers (FCPs)
The technical connectivity of an NCP or FCP is organised analogously to the corresponding
connectivity type of a participant.
A Network Connectivity Provider is connected to the Exchange System via an SWX Trading System
connection, a FIX Connectivity Provider via an SWX FIX connection.
Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
ISVs have the option of accessing the Test Lab, and hence the test Exchange System, via a
secure Internet connection (a virtual private network). The Test Lab gives ISVs access to
Trading System servers and application servers on Unix and Windows OS. This infrastructure
gives ISVs a realistic test environment for the stock-market applications that they develop.
The Member Support Center (MSC)
provides support in connection with the provision of technical connectivity.
