Member Support Center (MSC)
Mission and Organization
The Member Support Center (MSC) is the contact point for the SIX Swiss Exchange and SWX Europe members
in all technical matters. MSC is made up of geographically separated
Local Support Centers (LSCs) in Zurich, Geneva and London,
the Eurex Technical Helpdesk in Switzerland, and a Documentation Team.
Besides technical support, MSC provides advice and assistance for potential new members
in the induction phase. MSC also supports the members' development departments in connection
with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and advocates the interests of the members
in internal planning bodies of the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Technical Support
The task of the Local Support Centers and the Eurex Helpdesk is first and foremost
to provide technical support for members. This support function includes distributing
new software releases and patches developed by SIX Swiss Exchange and Eurex, providing support
for system administrators in installing and operating the trading and reporting systems of
SIX Swiss Exchange and SWX Europe, maintaining product-specific helpdesks for technical problems
and fault conditions, as well as receiving, analysing and, where applicable, passing on
error messages and modification requests. The LSC and Eurex Helpdesk support services
cover the entire range of products offered for trading and reporting by SIX Swiss Exchange

(SWX Trading System Sun Solaris, SWX Trading System NT GUI,
Reporting Security Dealers (RSD, SWX Bonds, Eurex Repo, Eurex).
Technical Documentation
The Documentation Team compiles and maintains the technical documentation for products of SIX Swiss Exchange for members,
among which are administrative, reference and user manuals as well as technical newsletters.
The Documentation Team also handles technical publications for in-house use and operates Internet Member sites.
